My Conceal Carry Conversation...
Here's the conversation I had with my buddy the other day.
Friend: Why do you carry? it just makes things worse.
Friend: If someone come robs you and he has a gun, you should call 911.
Me: Wouldn't it be better if I have a gun so I can defend myself, in case the cops doesn't get here first?
Friend: That would just make it worse, if you didn't have a gun, he wouldn't want to shoot you, now you have one, he will have to shoot you.
Me: How you know he wasn't going to shoot me anyways.
Friend: It's just COMMON SENSE, he just wants money, he would leave once he got the money.
Me: That doesn't make sense, if he's bold enough to come rob you with a gun, he's bold enough to shoot it.
Then my girlfriend had to butt in.
Girlfriend: Honey, promise me you won't kill him, just shoot him in the leg or shoot the gun out of his hand.
Me: So I shoot his leg while he shoots me in the face?
Girlfriend: I don't see why you have to shoot to kill...
Me: Yeah yeah.. I'll just shoot off his trigger finger.
I lost respect for my gf after that, I think she's kinda dumb. Anyways, I am sure someone had similar conversations with their love ones before too lol.

GLOCK 34, Another Tupperware to my Collection!
Came home with a Tupperware GLOCK 34 today in 9mm. Very good point of aim, pretty much just like a GLOCK 17 except the slide has a slot cut out of it that is suppose to reduce the muzzle flip of the gun. Comes with extended slide stop and magazine release, and a lighten trigger pull of roughly 4.5lb. I am going to do a combine range report of GLOCK 34 and M&P9c possibly next week or so. Also the 34 has adjustable rear sight of the plastic kind, I wish it came with steel sights.
Here are a few pics, enjoy it! I specifically picked my Neural Science book as a background!

Here is the cut out of the slide that's suppose to help recoil. |

Traded S&W 910 for M&P 9c
I have heard great things about Smith and Wesson M&P line of handguns, and finally got my hands on one today. I recommend M&P handguns to anyone especially if you are looking for a conceal weapon. I have the M&P9c which is the 9mm compact version. The three exchangeable grips that came along with this gun are all high quality and comfortable. The drawback to a conceal handgun is often sacraficing the comfort of the grip, but now with the grip options, this is not a problem anymore.
The trigger is crisp, and I would say that it is better than both the GLOCK and Springfield XD in terms of trigger. After disassembling the gun and inspecting the internal parts, everything looks well fitted and well finished. This is definitely a good buy for anyone looking for a conceal handgun.

Picked up a S&W 910
Nice gun for a very inexpensive price. I must admit that the finish was quite thin on this piece and was likely to be wore off by holster wear. It comes with a highly visible 3-dot sight, and a crisp single action trigger. The DA trigger is long and mushy as it should be, and the SA first has a short reset follow by a very crisp break.
I will post a range report maybe next week to show how it shoots. This gun is pack with 2 ten rounds magazine, but aftermarket 15 rounds or 17 rounds magazines can be purchase as well. Overall this is a great gun, ESPECIALLY if you can find it cheap.
Enjoy the crappy pictures!

Proper Shooting Stance
Ever heard of Gun Kata?
I think everyone should take a class in it.
This is the proper stance. Note the advantage of dual pistol. Also note the right hand holds the pistol right underneath the chin, this alignment enables the proper plane geometry to avoid shooting the left hand. Some may criticize the Gun Kata performer above as he holds the pistol side way in what is commonly known as a "gangsta style hold". Realize that this is the neutral stance of the beginner form of Gun Kata. This side way hold helps the practitioner maintain balance as the performer quickly transition to blocking or a side roll away from danger.

Can you guess what gun this is?!
You don't win anything for guessing correctly, but there's some bragging rights too...
I will reveal the answer later!

I am now a professional trapper.
So lately there are these little mouse making holes into my food supplies. They have been making holes in dog food, rice bags, etc.!!! Well I got my sweet revenge this morning with a good old mouse trap.
Below images may be gruesome, viewer discretion is advised!
Got it right at the neck, though the cheese is gone. I wonder if it died right after consuming the cheese, does it mean the cheese is undigested and sitting in the stomach?
Just to be thoughtful, does it mean if I cook it, I would automatically have cheddar cheese rat dish?
Revenge never tasted so sweet! Sweeter still because I can blog about it!
You can now call me a professional trapper.
